About
Built by a practitioner. Not a pundit.
I've spent 15 years building and securing networks — across the DoD and the private sector — first as a hands-on practitioner, later at the architecture level. Which means I've been on the receiving end of a lot of vendor promises about what technology would do for my team. Some delivered. Most had a gap between the pitch and the production environment.
That gap is why Izzet Labs exists. I got tired of slideware — tools that demo well and fall apart three months after deployment, when the demo environment is long gone and someone on your team still has to operate the thing.
Today the focus is AI agent security: businesses are wiring AI into email, files, and money faster than anyone is tracking it, and "what can this thing actually do?" is a question with a findable answer. Izzet Labs finds it, fixes it, and documents it — against published standards, in plain English.
Security operations engineer by day. Skeptic by experience.
